Ellie Huff is a multi-talented freelance Director, Producer, and Videographer, though she prefers the all-encompassing title: Creator.

Currently based in Los Angeles, California, Ellie also maintains deep roots in Christchurch, New Zealand, as well as Colorado and Bozeman, Montana, where she grew up. She holds a BFA in Integrated Lens-Based Media from Montana State University.

This summer, Ellie is working as a Junior Producer at STEPT Studios in Los Angeles, supporting production on commercial and branded content projects—coordinating logistics, managing on-set details, and helping bring high-level creative campaigns to life from concept through delivery.

​

With a strong foundation in the outdoor and commercial film industry, Ellie has spent the past several years working alongside athletes and brands, with a passionate focus on amplifying female representation in the outdoor space. She is the founder and director of Novia Productions, a nonprofit production company dedicated to empowering women both in front of and behind the camera.

​

Ellie's latest projects, "Misogi" and "Unwritten," are her second and third major ski films, both of which have premiered nationwide over the past few years. The films showcase her full creative range: she directed, produced, edited each project from the ground up.

​

In addition to her independent work, Ellie has collaborated with renowned creative studios such as Mission Ranch (Bozeman, MT) and Level 1 Productions (Denver, CO). Her background as a competitor in the Freeride World Qualifier circuit gives her a unique and authentic perspective in the world of snowsports storytelling.

Whether she's behind the lens or crafting visuals across other mediums, Ellie brings her artistry and creative vision to everything she touches.

To inspire through creativity and to tell diverse, meaningful stories that leave a lasting impact.
